Barcelona’s Innovation Ecosystem lands in London!

The Barcelona Innovation Day / London 2020 is a high-level forum that brought together the most prominent stakeholders from academia, startups, industry, and public institutions from Barcelona and London to strengthen relationships between both ecosystems; promote the excellence of their research institutions, universities and companies; showcase best practices in science, innovation and higher education; engage with Barcelona’s science diaspora in the area; and support the active engagement of SciTech DiploHub partners in the international exchange of knowledge, ideas and talent.

What best practices can London and Barcelona learn from each other to bolster their science, tech and higher education ecosystems? What will universities look like after the pandemic? What are challenges and opportunities in life sciences after Brexit? How is Covid reshaping clinical trials? Will the current pandemic diminish agglomeration effects in cities? How can AI help rebuild the post-Covid economy? How should competition policy evolve to promote pro-consumer innovation in the digital age? Why should investors keep an eye on space research and innovation in London and Barcelona? These are some of the exciting questions we covered at our Innovation Day!
